Craig Berkel

Prior to launching a highly successful career as a sales and marketing strategist in the golfing industry, Craig Berkel earned his Bachelor of Communications from Boston College. While attending the school, Craig Berkel played on its football team and was a member of the National Sports Marketing Network Association.

Upon completing his education, Craig Berkel became a Tournament Coordinator, and eventually Tournament Director, for the International Management Group, serving in its Golf Division. In 1999, he joined Woolf Associates as the Director of Corporate Marketing and Player Relations. Four years later, he spent several months as a private consultant to PGA players. In 2004, Mr. Berkel accepted a position as the Director of Marketing for WEEI Sports Radio. While there, he managed a sponsorship profile worth $18 million. He then joined Affinity Golf Management, where he played an instrumental role in re-launching a private country club. Thanks to his efforts, membership rose by 81% in the first 12 months. After this, Mr. Berkel spent roughly six months as a Sales and Marketing Consultant for the Golf Club of Cape Cod. He then spent two years as a Regional Sales Executive for Membersfirst Inc. While there, Mr. Berkel was placed in charge of a $1 million per year territory, in which he sold SaaS packages to private clubs. Over the course of his two-year involvement with the company, Mr. Berkel maintained a client retention rate of 98%.

Since 2010, Craig Berkel has worked with Fore Sports Associates, a private club and golf consultation firm that provides a broad range of operative solutions.

In his spare time, Craig Berkel enjoys playing golf, football, and lacrosse. He also spends his time traveling and cooking.
