Craig Bittner

Craig Bittner is pursuing his Juris Doctor at the UCLA School of Law. He is completing the second year of the three-year program and has received recognition as a Distinguished Advocate for his role in the Mock Trial Competition hosted by the school. Dr. Bittner already possesses a Doctor of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami.

Prior to entering the UCLA School of Law, Craig Bittner maintained a career in both real estate development and medicine. He drew upon an entrepreneurial spirit for both endeavors. As a doctor, he created two medical practices, one with a nationwide presence. Craig Bittner also played a significant investigative role with a medical research company that developed new surgical protocols and medical devices. As a real estate investor, he sought opportunities across the United States and Rio de Janiero to acquire office space and remained involved through the leasing and tenant selection process. Craig Bittner's real estate ventures also included residential homes and multi-family developments.

After almost 10 years as a medical doctor and entrepreneur, Dr. Craig Bittner closed his private practice and took a 20-month tour of the world before beginning his legal studies. During his time abroad, Craig Bittner visited 22 countries. An avid traveler, he also spent his sophomore and senior years of college abroad and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Although not currently in practice, Dr. Craig Bittner maintains affiliation with the American Medical Association and other professional associations. In preparation for his next career move, he joined the American Bar Association Law Student Division.
