Craig Houston
Glasgow, Scotland
Born Craig David Houston in Dumfries, Scotland, Craig has had a vast number of oppertunities thrown at him in his 22 years. Indeed, in his time, he's been a musical director, sound engineer, producer, director, visual editor, dubbing mixer, radio producer and broadcaster, which did include him being chased by a herd of cattle!
Known to friends and aquantinces as 'Houston' or, curiously, 'Foxy,' Craig is well known for being an highly-energized character, is always chipper and cheerful, and rarely has a bad day.
Currently, Craig works for The Glasgow School of Art where he is a tour guide, taking tourits round the Mackintosh building and educating them on both the history of Glasgow and the School of Art itself.
Educated at the University of Abertay Dundee, where he achieved a 2:1 Honours Degree in Creative Sound Production, and later The Glasgow School of Art, where he succesfully completed and was awarded an MDes in Sound For The Moving Image with Merit, which included an exhibition at The Lighthouse.
Deeply Dippy about all things musical, Craig is a frequent concert goer, and loves nothing more than getting down in a crowd to a funky beat. At home, he's a casual listener to music, in particular Aztec Camera, Orange Juice and Josef K.
When not working away or listening to something melodic, Craig is generally found socialising, and spending time with his niece.
