Craig Maier

Craig joined the Dewey & Kaye division of ParenteBeard LLC in March 2011 as a consultant. Before joining Dewey & Kaye, he spent eleven years in the nonprofit sector, gaining experience in communication planning, project management, professional writing, document design, change management and crisis communication for both grassroots and large organizations. His work as a planner, project manager and designer has received numerous national awards.

In 2008, Craig completed his Ph.D. in rhetoric and communication at Duquesne University, where he developed expertise in organizational communication, public relations and community development.

A member of the adjunct faculty of Duquesne University’s Department of Communication & Rhetorical Studies, he teaches courses in organizational communication, advertising and public relations at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. His retreats and workshops for numerous community groups inspire change and empower organizational and personal growth.
