Dr. Craig A. Mertler

I'm passionate about two things in this life: my family and education. I want to help you transform your practice as a professional educator. My areas of expertise include school-based action research and student assessment. I conduct trainings around the country and world for educators (at all levels) who want to engage in action research as a means for improving their practice, as well as trainings to help educators better understand and use the results of student assessments. I have 30 years of experience as a professional educator, with 20 of those years as a professor of education, consultant, and educational trainer. I am the author of 9 books, with topics ranging from action research and teacher empowerment, to educational research methods, quantitative analysis, and classroom assessment.
