In May 2012 the South Australian Government awarded me compensation for what happened to me while in state care as a child, even though they never accepted liability for what happened, In June 2012 I contacted a Victorian lawyer to start proceedings against the Salvation Army and the Welfare services in Melbourne Victoria Australia.

On the 10th of July 2012 I received documents to sign from Ryan Castle Thomas Lawyers ,twelve days after I received these papers from Melbourne I was baptized at the revival fellowship here in Adelaide, I was only there to listen to my sons testimony. I felt very strange, I went to the front and was prayed for, a few minutes later I was baptized and received the holy spirit.

Since the 22nd of July 2012 many miracles have occurred in my life, I had a bad limp in my right leg after a car accident 4 years ago after being hit by a Range Rover 4x4 here in Adelaide, I have given up and have no craving to drink any more, given up drugs, the Lord has taken it all away.

From early 70’s I was in and out of trouble with the authorities here in Adelaide, back in those days they use to call kids like me a uncontrollable child and would most likely institutionalise you, I was put in several different homes here in Adelaide, when I was 13 I absconded from a place called Lochiel park boys home.

I went to Melbourne posing as some one else using the name Michael Lee Maclay and all so told people over in Melbourne I was 18 years old, after about three months being cared by the Salvation Army they found out who I was.

From the age of 13 till I was 18 years old I was under the care of both the state of Victoria and the Salvation Army, I was sexually abused and physically abused in both boys homes and Salvation Army hostels, .The abuse was never done by S.A. Officers it was older boys and a S.A volunteer in the men’s shelter
