Craig Spiesman's retirement journey is an ongoing adventure filled with photography, sports, and deep community and family connections. After retiring as a Restoration Account Manager, he moved from Parsippany, NJ, to Georgia, finding a fulfilling lifestyle amidst its scenic landscapes and warm community.

Craig's passion for photography began with his travels through the Southeastern U.S. and various trips to the Hawaiian Islands. With his iPhone always ready, he has captured everything from the rolling hills of Northern Georgia and the inviting beaches of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, to the enchanting small towns scattered throughout the Southeast. Some of his most cherished shots include sunsets over the beaches of Kauai, candid scenes with his wife Cindy on Maui's shores, and the awe-inspiring views from Hawaii's famous landscapes.

Golf and billiards are among his favorite pastimes. He regularly visits local golf courses around the Atlanta suburbs, enjoying the game more for the camaraderie than his prowess on the green. Wednesday nights find him at the community clubhouse, engaging in friendly rounds of billiards with friends, where his participation in weekly 8-ball tournaments is marked by friendly competition and laughter.

Family is central to Craig's life. He and Cindy decided to relocate closer to her family, now living just a short drive from four generations of relatives in Hoschton, GA. Their Sunday lunches at the home of Cindy's cousin are filled with comfort food and lively conversations, where family members share stories of their youth and connect over shared histories. He profoundly values these moments, reinforcing familial bonds and creating lasting memories.

Craig Spiesman also maintains a robust spiritual life, attending Southside Church every Sunday with Cindy. They find great comfort and inspiration in the sermons delivered by Pastor Jeff and his assistant. These sessions give them spiritual sustenance and a sense of renewal, readying them for the week ahead.

Even in retirement, he stays actively involved in his community. He participates in the local men's club and contributes to the welfare of his neighbors, particularly those needing help with household chores or maintenance. His commitment to community service reflects the ethos of mutual aid that defines the Cresswind Twin Lakes community where he resides.
