Since 2017 I have been the editor of Emerging Europe, a think tank, discussing serious issues such as the rule of law, human rights, and trade and investment across Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Previously, I was more frivolous, working for almost two decades as a travel writer. I still occasionally put pen to paper—my witterings are here, on Substack.
