I currently work at Publicis Sapient in Customer Experience & Innovation Consulting.

I was previously a founder of rtobjects - a cloud platform delivering personal interactive movie experiences, to help people really see and experience things before they buy them.

Before that, I was a Consultant at Progenit - helping organisations clarify digital strategy, then manage the change to deliver it.

I was Managing Director in Havas Helia for 2 years, profitably growing the business from 40 to 70 people, and helping shape Havas for the digital future.

My first job was as the first and founding member of the AKQA Strategy department, working at AKQA for over a decade as Director of Strategy in London, San Francisco and New York.

I am a writer on the Philosopher John Locke.

I have published more than two dozen refereed articles on Locke's life and works.

I have also written about AI for Quartz.com, Ethical Design for the Design Management Institute Review, and Prince for Cuepoint Magazine.

My manuscript discoveries about Locke have been featured in The Guardian, the Wall Street Journal, The Observer, Forbes Magazine, The Smithsonian Magazine Canopy Forum, and the Times Literary Supplement, amongst others.

One of these discoveries even became a question on University Challenge.

I am currently editing Locke's Of the Conduct of the Understanding and other Writings on Philosophy (1690-1704) with Paul Schuurman, part of the new Clarendon Edition of the Works of John Locke from Oxford University Press.
