Cravings of my Soul

Just a small town Canadian girl, Heinz 57 variety, out to rediscover what makes me happy, and the path I want to follow. I have a grown daughter out finding her own happiness; two cray dogs and an even crazier cat; and an incredible group of family and friends I am luckyenough to call my own. I tend to be a bit of an eclectic personality in almost every part of my life, and thoroughly enjoy the spice of life. I am happiest when I get to unleash my creativity and am a dabbler in many different hobbies and crafts. I also love to travel when I get the chance, though am just as content when staying at home.

I am currently at a cross-roads in my life, and starting over-- which is taking more time than I once imagined, but I am ok with that. I am trying my best to embrace the challanges that lie ahead and not dwell too much on the past. Life after all, is for the living, and you are not living if you are stuck in the past. I think the trick may be in taking the best of what was, and putting it to good use in the now for an even brighter future. And ya, I know easier said than done, but I'm workin' on it. :P

Whoops, that gotta a little deeper than I had planned, lol. So that all said, I am generally a happy and optomistic kind of gal, who occassionally drifts ito other places. Oh and did I mention I tend to be a little random, and scattered by times, so there's no telling where my blog may end up. But not to sweat the small stuff, it'll all be good in the end, I'm sure.

Anywho...this blog is mainly for my own liking, and if you happen to stumble across it and enjoy my harmlessly crazy ramblings, so much the better. :)
