I was born in Athens, Greece, and studied Industrial Management (BSc), Fiction Film Production (MA) and Cognitive Narratology (PhD).

My monograph "Screenplay and Narrative Theory” investigates the cognitive processes writers employ during narrative/dramatic writing in order to address problems related to story logic. It is published by Lexington Books, and can be found on all major bookstores worldwide.

I am a FHEA in the UK, and have been a visiting lecturer at the University of Birmingham, the University of Reading, the American College of Greece (Deree) and the Central Film School in London, a full-time lecturer at GSM London/University of Plymouth while currently I am a visiting lecturer in Producing for Cinema & TV at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) under academic scholarship.

I irreversibly fell in love with movies at the age of 7 when my father took me to the cinema for the first time. I'm an ardent book reader, a strategy video game enthusiast, a science buff, an unrepentant rock 'n' roll man, and an eternal film geek. My heroes can be found in the sciences, philosophy, literature, movies and, of course, rock 'n' roll music.

My proof-of-concept short film AUTONOMOUS was awarded the Best Sci-Fi Short Film at the London International Short Film Festival (LISFF), the Silver Award at The Box Film Festival 2016, was a Finalist at the Phoenix ComiCon 2017, US, and a Finalist in more than twenty-five festivals around the world. It premièred at the 35th SGAI, the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence at the University of Cambridge under invitation of the British Computer Society. My screenplay MAVEN, a female-led action/thriller with massive franchise potential, is out to cast, directors, producers and financiers.

I am set to direct my script BLACK EQUINOX, a crime/drama/thriller in the vein of Se7en and True Detective, having the opportunity to work alongside Emmy-nominated cinematographer Fabian Wagner ASC (Venom3, Zack Snyder's Justice League, Frankenstein, House of Dragon, Game of Thrones, The Crown) and actor Eric St. John who is attached to play the lead role. BrightStag Films are producing with me executive producing, and the script is currently out to film sale agents and financiers.
