Mike Griggs

Since qualifying in 1995, I have developed a career in delivering digital design solutions.

These include 3D visualisation, broadcast motion graphics, digital design and photography for exhibition, graphic, advertising and post-production agencies to service some of the biggest clients in the world.

Through design agencies and as a freelance I have worked on projects for the BBC, the Natural History Museum, BP, The National Trust, the Science Museum, Castrol, Invensys, the British Library, Dynamic Earth, The Royal Museum of Scotland, the National Maritime Musuem, UAE Expo 2010 and a wide range of other clients in Europe, the US, the Middle East and beyond.

I am a regular writer for 3D World magazine for a range of professional level tutorials articles and reviews. I am also responsible for '3D World's' the monthly ‘Fundamentals’ articles for new 3D artists, and have had my worked featured in a range of online and print publications including 'Computer Arts'. 'CreativeBloq.com', as well as being featured on 'The Foundry' developer's of award-winning computer graphics and visual effects (VFX) software.

I have also been a guest speaker at BVE 2013, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Arts in London.

I professionally use : Mac, PC, Cinema 4D, After Effects, modo, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, ZBrush, mari, Nuke, Photoshop, Syntheyes, PFMatchit, Sketchup.
