Creative Literacy Stars supplies lessons using drama and other performing arts as a stimulus for pupils to create. It was formed in 2013 by Carys Boulton and is based in Warwickshire, working with schools across the Midlands, and NEW for Autumn 2013, South Wales.
We believe children learn more effectively when shown rather than told, so by creating and performing their own drama, they are able to extend their knowledge and skills into their writing. CLS encourages children in KS1 and KS2 to create by doing, then transfer their creative ideas onto paper.
We design and customise lessons based on any topic or theme your school desires with each lesson plan focusing on areas of the National Curriculum.
