Carl Ribaudo

For those who who dont know me I am a consultant, writer and public speaker. As a consultant I am the founder of the Strategic Marketing Group located in South Lake Tahoe. We provide strategic marketing, competitive strategy, research and economic analysis and technology services for the tourism and recreation industries. The work is incredibly enganging as i have had the opportunity to understand a wide range of tourism destinations and the experiences they provide. I often write about tourism and do public speaking on a range of related issues.

My passion is motorclcyle touring across the American West on my BMW motorcycle which I often chronicle in my writings and photography. Robert Pirsig the famed author said it best "when your're in a car you're looking at the picture, when you're on a motorcycle you are in the picture". I am also the founder of the Tahoe Blue Riders Motorcycle Club and a founding partner in the Carson Tahoe Moto, an annual motorcycle event in the Carson Valley. My passion and my work are intertwined and give me the best of both worlds.
