As a writer and avid reader (and holding a BA degree in Literature), Kelly Perotti reviews newly-released or soon-to-be-released books. Her To-Review Shelf is currently lined with fiction by women, and plenty of children's books, but she'll make space for anything that seems interesting!

Kelly is the author of Crib Notes ~ a candid look at conception, pregnancy, and parenthood. She gained her insight and expertise during a nine month course called Pregnancy and continues on-the-job-training mothering two boys just eighteen months apart in age. Kelly loves being a mom and, although the unpredictability of motherhood does not always mesh well with her list-loving, calendar-plotting personality, instead of trying to hold a newborn to a feeding schedule, attempting to micromanage a toddler’s playdate, or throwing her hands in the air in dismissal, she decided to take a step back and realize the big picture— enjoying the experience.
