I'm a 26 year old Toronto based lawyer practising in family, commercial and criminal litigation. As you can probably notice by my username my real passion is criminal law. I get the same boatload of questions when I tell people what I do, "So lets say for instance the guy tells you he did it, what'd you do now?" Unfortunately, criminal law is not what popular culture makes it out to be, and not every client is a rapist or a murderer. My philosophy about what criminal law is, was evident during my Articling tenure, with legal mentor Walter Fox. Criminal law is simple, its the vindication of individuals rights through legal process. Everyone needs assistance and that's what I strive to do. I was educated in Europe, attending the University of Dublin, Trinity College attaining my LL.B in 2007. Upon return to Toronto, I attended the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law to complete my Equivalency requirements for practice in Ontario. I completed my requirements in 2009, completed my bar exams and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2010. My passions include, film and production (haven't found any time for it since my University days), computers and technology, golf, and basketball. I'm also a sucker for a good scotch.
