Mario Tapia, Chilean painter and her art teacher, says about Cristina:

"every art teacher's desire is that among a group of students some of them stand out for their perseverance and insistence towards their own work, putting the basis for a distinctive personality.
From year to year Cristina carried out this concept perfectly.
Starting from a pictorial style, almost realistic, going through the steps of the stylization to her own understanding, merging her feelings to technical knowledge, her cultural roots to a new concept. The use of matter, the pleasure of pausing in front of a painting, brings to the research of tones and values of the piece of art through the technical refinement.
She usually develops her subjects starting from chaos, that becomes a start, but it's never an ending point.
The energy of a mixture, expressible only through metaphorical means of art, is given to strong and indomable matters.
What is certain is that in front of such an event, author's behavior becomes crowded of awsomeness, spontaneity and sensations, while shape and matter mix up in that energy they are related to.
Cristina has certainly found, thanks to her great perseverance, her way to the artistic maturity, which will give her great satisfaction, both for her spiritual completeness and for her ability to be always original.

Mario Tapia was her art teacher, he died in 2010 and you can see his works here. http://www.mariotapia.it/
