In parallel, have taught marketing communications and creative marketing as a lecturer, visiting professor and teaching assistant. Recognized for creativity and marketing campaigns, received awards from American Advertising Federation (ADDYs), Best of Iowa Bank Marketing and Premio Colunistas SC.

Originally from Brazil, where for several years managed creative services and marketing communications for the two of the main fashion franchise companies in the south of Brazil with 18+ stores. Also worked for Samsung Telecom for 6 years as a brand ambassador and sales consultant, achieving a significant impact on sales and consumer buying experience, while building brand presence and networks at retail. In 2007 moved to US, where completed a MA and MFA at University of Iowa (graduated with commendation) and worked for Transamerica Aegon as Brand Specialist ensuring brand consistency and integrity throughout marketing materials in US.

Solid track record in planning, designing, and executing successful marketing campaigns and communication strategies, either in Brazil and US. With a Bachelor’s in Advertising and two Master degrees in Graphic Design (focused on Branding and Corporate Identity) with minor major in Photography, have run national promotional campaigns, executing new product launch programs, developing marketing materials, produce product sales training presentations, vendor contract negotiation, as well as directing priority market selections for sales objectives all while developing strong relationships with these business associates, vendors & media outlets. Created and developed a variety of marketing channels to accomplish the objectives of the organizations have worked with.
