Cris is the Global Head of Digital Innovation at Johnson & Johnson Innovation in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is responsible for the role of digital in startup incubation, crowdsourcing, partnering, investing and building new collaborations between J&J and the innovation ecosystem.
Cris was previously Associate Director at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research where he led a Research Informatics organization driving social computing and emerging technology programs. In 2010, Cris Co-Founded Ultra Light Startups, a premier venture competition in Boston, New York and Silicon Valley, having accelerated 800+ startups.
Cris was named to the Boston Business Journal and MedTech Boston’s 2015 40 Under 40 Healthcare Innovators list, Klick Health's International Top 41 health-oriented social media influencers, winner of BostInno's Innovation Impact Award, and named in the top 10 of the #HIT99 most influential in Health IT.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University.
