Cristelle Basmaji

As Head of Montreal-based Youville Creative Community’s Public Relations and Cause Marketing divisions, Cristelle Basmaji puts more than 10 years of experience as a corporate spokesperson, brand director and social responsibility strategist to work for her clients. She is a passionate communicator who thrives on giving brands a powerful voice. Cristelle’s innovative and results-oriented public relations strategies enable brands to break through the media clutter and get their messages across through credible editorial coverage, online communities, new media influencers and brand ambassadors across Canada. She understands that successful brands stand for something bigger than the products and services they offer and she believes in leveraging those values to create brand differentiation. Cristelle brings companies and causes together for sustainable, win-win partnerships that build customer and employee loyalty. Cristelle is an avid speaker and event host who has served as Master of Ceremonies at prestigious national conferences such as the Tremblant Forum on Corporate Responsibility and the Imagine Canada/Volunteer Canada Business & Community Partnership Forum. She regularly speaks at conferences on topics related to communications, cause marketing and corporate social responsibility. Cristelle holds an M.A. in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California where she was valedictorian and a B.Comm in Marketing from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business. She lives out her passion for community engagement by sitting on the Board of Public Relations Without Borders, Free The Children, Hope & Cope and the John Molson School of Business.
