Cristen Vaughn

Cristen Vaughn is a recruiter at Vaco Raleigh, LLC.

Prior to joining Vaco, Cristen attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 2006 and a Master's of Science Degree in Accounting in 2008. She began her career in 2006 as a Financial Representative for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and assisted clients with their overall financial plans and goals.

In 2008, she joined public accounting and worked for a local firm as a tax accountant where she worked with many different companies and individuals in assisting them with their tax services needs.

In 2006, Cristen started the Wilmington Professional Group, a local networking group, in Wilmington, NC. This group is designed to create a professional environment for business people to network and showcase their businesses. After relocating to Raleigh, NC in 2008, Cristen started the Raleigh Professional Group. Today, WPG has over 700 members and RPG has over 200 members.

In addition to the networking groups, Cristen is also active in the Junior League of Raleigh. JLR is a member-based organization of women with a three-fold mission-- to promote voluntarism, to develop the potential of woman, and to improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
