Hey! I live in Silver Spring, Maryland where I am a senior in high school getting ready to enter college. My passion is music and I play the trumpet, percussion, flute, guitar, piano, quena (an Andean flute), and I sing. My principal instrument is the flute which I taught myself how to play about 2 years ago and have since placed fourth at Richmond Flute Fest held at VCU on December 7th, and auditioned for the Maryland Senior All-State Band and although I wasn't selected, I was a finalist in the auditions and am now ranked 3rd in the state of Maryland for high school flutists. I absolutely love performing and I intend on majoring in flute performance in college and going on to be a professional flutist. I'm also a member of the Honors Executive Leadership Program Class of 2014 and as part of the curriculum, I am currently interning at The Music Center at Strathmore where I work with development, marketing and concert production.
