ITALIAN ONLINE TUTOR
Loving Italy and its language.
Being curious.
I've chosen my job because of these three easy ingredients!
I'm teaching italian as a second language since 2011.
I was 33 years old when I decided to follow my instinct for doing the most exciting job of the world.
Before that, my weekly days were just desk, marketing, budget estimates, margin calculations and boring relationships with stressed clients and collegues.
I was exhausted because this world, not mine, was absorbing all my energies!
But it's not so easy to find the nerve for dropping everything and chasing your dreams.
It means time, volition and a little bit of madness as well as irrationality...!
Anyway I've never given up and one day I did it!
I quitted my desk job, I got the Ditals certificate to increase my knowledge for teaching italian as a second language, like a completion for my italian linguistic degree, and I went away! I was driven by the curiosity of the world, the people and the different cultures.
I moved from my little village, in the foothills of Piedmont Alpes, to Toronto (Canada), one of the world's most multicultural cities. The rightest place for me!
There I verified how much I like my new job as italian teacher for non-native
speakers and how much it's satisfying to share the life with my students.
Teaching languages means to know and to know thyself... exactly like learning a language!
When I came back to Italy I've continued on my way, cause this kind of job is like a drug and you can't stop and get back!
Now I'm collaborating with some language schools, I'm a blogger and I organize individual or group online lessons.
