Cristina Almeida-Urwin

I'm Portuguese, born in Lisbon, but with most of my roots in Coimbra where I keep precious friendships and my closest family.

I've been living in England (Newcastle) since January 2003.. Came here to work for a year and lost the boarding pass for the way back.. ;)

I'm always "hitching" to discover the world, travel and find new places, cultures and ways of seeing life! Totally addicted to dancing, specially argentine tango!

On a more professional side of my life, have been working in finance at Procter and Gamble for more than 13 years. The main passion is on Customer Service and Process Improvements, using imagination and collaboration to put better solutions in place and make a difference.

Part of my free-time is spent with the Scouts, helping out with the Beavers (6 to 8 years old), constantly amazed at their endless energy and joy for life! Children have so much to teach us :)
