I was the first Italian journalist to ask a question of Vladimir Putin during the Crimean crisis in April 2014. Again on 2015 two questions about the situation of Middle Eastern Christians (here the video). My balanced writing reflects my true interest in and deep understanding of Russia. But today's news has led me to constantly deal with the war in Ukraine and NATO enlargement (also as a commentator on the Rai and Mediaset channels). And in this perspective for Askanews I repeatedly interviewed Aleksandr Rodnyansky, economic adviser to the Ukrainian president.

Fluent in Russian, I also have written for the Italian weekly Panorama. I interviewed Sergey Lavrov for the cover of Panorama and for Askanews, Anna Chapman for Panorama, Valery Gergiev for Askanews, Aleksey Navalny for La7, Jack Valenti, Goran Bregovic, Predrag Matvejevic, Roy Medvedev and many others. Pietro Parolin is another one I profiled for Askanews: the news was picked up by Rai Tv (Tg2) and other media. The most interesting trips for work purpose were in Syria in December 2015 and March 2016 and one in the Russian Far East, following Big manoeuvres.

I have performed on different Radio & Tv shows in Italy but also in Russia (Pervij Kanal, Rossia24, Ntv, TvRain, Ekho Moskvy, etcetera) and written for The Moscow Times. (And here's something historic I'd like to show you...)

In 2004, I joined news agency Apcom, at that time partner of the Associated Press, now it is called Askanews. In 2007 became the youngest Italian Moscow correspondent as the agency opened its Russian desk in Moscow. I have followed also Italian Prime Ministers visiting the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Bielorussia. From Romano Prodi to Giuseppe Conte.
