Inspiring my students through lifelong learning.
I’ve always had a deep curiosity about how things work and why, from understanding people’s behavior to exploring different cultures and perspectives. This passion for learning has driven me throughout my life. Although I didn’t read much as a child, my experiences in nature were teaching me every day. Later on in life, I developed a love for reading, especially non-fiction. I believe that my enthusiasm for learning can inspire my students to cultivate their own curiosity. We have to remember that each person around us will teach us something, whether it is information, a life lesson, or how to know ourselves better.
One of the most impactful books I’ve read recently is How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen by David Brooks. It has reinforced my belief in the importance of making meaningful connections and understanding others. These connections are crucial in creating an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where every culture is celebrated.
I also enjoy integrating technology into the learning process, whether it’s through digital tools or audiobooks during my commute. I’m eager to show my students how these resources can enhance their learning experiences.
Above all, my priority in the classroom is to ensure that every student feels valued and supported. I try to create a calm, inclusive environment where everyone’s needs and preferences are considered, and I work to reflect this in the materials I prepare and the way I teach.
