My name is Cristina Lanz Azcarate and I am a a designer in a lifelong pursuit of knowledge.

My speciality is architecture-including interiors- and design is the tool i use to better the quality of life of my clients.

To me, being part of the Built Environment is a responsibility full of potential and this potential inspires me and helps me remain passionate about my work.

I am also the London and South East Chair for NAWIC , the National Association of Women in Construction. This is a role i fulfil since 2013 which has helped me grow as a professional. Around the same time, I became a Mentor at Fluid Mentoring -a pan professional innovative scheme to help retain diverse talent within the construction industry.

Since 2017, I sit at RIBA’s EDI Expert Advisory Group and London Mayor Design Advocate Organisation, Architects for Change.

By the way, Cristina Lanz Azcarate is my real name but you can find me on social media as Burutapen (which in Basque means intuition)
