Growing up in the heart of South Georgia, I was raised on a very firm set of rules. The first and most important of these rules is that God is in control. He is in control of my life, my family, everything. The second of these rules is that, no matter what, Mama is always right. Whether it is her opinion of people, what I should do, or just something that she happens to say, you better believe that it is right. This rule may seem rather trivial to some, but, where I am from, everyone believes this. The third rule is that football is king. From playing flag football at the ripe old age of five, to being the star of my small town beneath those Friday night lights, all the way to cheering on the bulldogs in the beautiful Sanford Stadium, football reigns supreme. These rules have always help to dictate my decisions in life, and I am positive that they always will. I know that my God will always be by my side, my mama will always have my back, and football will always hold a special place in my heart. From the backwoods of South Georgia all the way to the Classic City, I hope I can always carry these rules.
