C Roger Moss

Over the last 25 years, C. Roger Moss has held a number of municipal government and customer service positions within the field of parks and recreation, highlighted by a 15-year period as director of parks, recreation, and senior services in the town of East Hartford, Connecticut. C. Roger Moss’ time in this role and other parks and recreation positions has allowed him to develop advanced management skills and effective leadership techniques, including those vital to the training and mentoring of new employees. During his time as parks director in East Hartford, he managed a $3.3 million operating budget while supervising a variety of annual events such as the Halloween Haunted House, which attracted more than 3,000 individuals every year.

C. Roger Moss is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP)and member of the National Recreation and Parks Association and the Connecticut Recreation and Parks Association. Also a supporter of the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival, he is also affiliated with the International Bluegrass Music Association.
