Crosseyed.art
I was born with a lazy eye, or cross-eye. So being cross-eyed has a double meaning for me. The first being the obvious meaning behind it of on of my eyes, even after surgery, being "occasionally" cross-eyed now. The other association is with the Bible verse, Hebrews 12:2a, "fixing our eyes on Jesus..." thus, the cross-eyed reference.
As far back as I can remember I have been a fan of the pencil and pen. I have not always allowed those items to flow and create as they should. When I have...I have been excited and bummed at various times. I has an uncle that exposed me to the arts outside of the basic school exposure. He was into pencil and at times pen, but mostly graphite was his choice medium. He taught me to keep at it, even if I or others didn't care for what I was drawing. Draw what moved me. In my adolescence I drew mostly guy stuff: war images, cars, and comics. Later I got into landscape images. I never was fond of the portrait art, but am trying to craft that into my style.
I hope to do caricature at some point. This concept of merging my comical witty side into my art would be a great compliment. I am by no means a professional artist. I only have a passion to enjoy my God given craft and hopefully share it with others.
