A key part of Kimbo Slice bio is his MMA beginnings. Slice commenced preparation with Bas Rutten, an MMA legend, ahead of his taped bout ageist Sean Gannon. Slice kept at his training under Rutten ahead of taking on Ray Mercer, an ex- boxing champ, in an exhibition game on the 23 of June of 2007. That was the starting of his way to a superstar.
