Dan Crow

London, United Kingdon

From 1996 to 2006, I worked in Silicon Valley. I was at Apple for 4 years, working on media applications alongside Steve Jobs and Apple's JavaVM. I then worked at a series of San Francisco startups including Verb (acquired by Dell) and Unicru (acquired by Kronos). I co-founded Blurb, a profitable, high-growth consumer service.

I moved to New York and joined Google where I worked on search infrastructure and search quality. I led the team that created Google Squared.

I moved to London in 2009, and led teams working on ads and Android.

In 2001 I left Google and joined Songkick as CTO. I lead one of the best engineering teams in the UK, building software that is used by tens of millions of music fans around the world. We have introduced a Service Oriented Architecture and built a kick-ass continuous deployment system.

I am a Visiting Professor of Computer Science at Leeds University and a founding Tech London Advocate.
