Carmen Rubin has taken life's challenges and gives back to youth, especially girls of all ages. Through travels across the country to various schools, universities, groups, churches, she encourages them to take the "pits" of life and turn them into a promising future. She motivates them all to become better writers. Rubin has become an advocate for children through her writing and educates teachers about helping children find their voice. The ways she puts it, "I speak for them until they will speak for themselves."
Rubin is the author of children's books - with endorsements from Grammy award winning artists, a singer, the founder of a non-profit organization, and the president of her publishing co. She has traveled the world to sing and is currently writing episodes for children's television programming.
Carmen is proud to show the world what is possible and happy to know that each pit guides her to freedom, peace, love, ownership, service, and protecting others - a magnificent and illuminating place she calls "The Palace".
Rubin's books include, Ashti Meets Birdman Al,The Gifted Guitar, Social Eyes, NY and the Boogie Man, and Music's a Language.
Rubin is currently writing for children's television programming.
