Leslie Evangeline Eldred

My name is Leslie Evangeline Eldred and I am a very versatile, well-rounded person! I consider myself a natural-born writer with a deep love and appreciation of film, literature, music, radio and television and enjoy writing about all equally! I enjoy doing research and gathering facts for profiles/stories I write and love to delve right in to all projects I am involved with. I believe "the devil is in the details" and can literally connect anything to everything...or everything to anything! This makes me excellent at Trivial Pursuit and Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon! ":)

I am pursuing an Entertainment Business Bachelor's Degree from Full Sail University where I maintain a 3.36 GPA. I am set to graduate end of Summer, 2012! I decided to go back to school after being in direct customer service and sales for 22 years for two reasons: 1) to give myself a career I can be proud of and enjoy and 2) to give a better example and life to my daughter, Tricia! I have been a freelance/amateur writer since I was 16, and want to pursue writing for entertainment magazines, shows and websites specializing in the art of film, radio and television. I also want to provide research in these fields and move on to set-decorating and period research for film projects and television shows.

I am an avid audiophile with a vinyl collection of close to 4000 albums! I also love the art of radio drama and have a rather vast collection of shows ranging from Dragnet to The Martin and Lewis Show! I have a great love of how a film or album or television show is created and pay very close attention to all details.

It is fair to say that I love the art of entertainment and want to have hands-on participation in sharing it with the world!
