I am a small business owner who takes great joy in helping other small businesses grow. In 2013, I was one of 20 women entrepreneurs recognized in the Elevate by Fairfield program and one of 25 African-American women chosen to travel to Africa to cross-pollinate business and technology practices with the Geeks Gone Global program.

My interests range from digital media and entrepreneurship to African American Studies, social justice, and the economic empowerment of communities of color.

I am a community servant who recently served on the board of Faith in Texas as well as lead the social justice team at Westside Baptist Church in Lewisville, TX. I am a 9-year member of the National Urban League Young Professionals - currently affiliate with the Dallas chapter. I also serve as President for the Dallas-Ft. Worth chapter of the National Hampton Alumni Association.

Previously, I've served as an Ambassador for the Dallas Entrepreneur Center, Alumni Council Representative for Leadership Northwest Indiana, Grant Review Committee Member for Legacy Foundation, Commissioner for the City of Gary, Indiana's Office of Human Relations, and Advisory Board Member for the Urban League of Northwest Indiana.
