I live in sunny Bakersfield, CA and originally from eastern Oregon where I was born and raised on a family owned ranch. Now I'm writing & illustrating children's books which has always been my dream but I just didn't think it was possible. Why? Too much fear! Silly me!

My other interests include making ceramics, riding my dirt bike, reading by the pool (Bako is hot in the summer!) and being lazy! I have three grown kids and a grandson who is a growing up way too fast. Needless to say, that grandbaby of mine is completely spoiled.
