... I am Crysanthus Silva - also known as "Crys" (pronounced 'kris') or "Kiththaa".
I was born 1968. My father Bede Antony Silva a railway station master and my mother Julie Francisca Perera a housewife.
I met with a train accident in 1976. I was just 11 years old and lost my left hand and have only the thumb and part of index finger in right hand. With the courage my parents gave me, I continued to attend school and study.
