Crystal Maciel is a physician assistant student passionate about helping underserved communities receive primary medical care. What Crystal loves most about the medical profession is having the ability to make a positive impact on someone’s life, no matter how big or small. She finds the bonds and relationships that are formed in the workplace, whether with patients or other healthcare providers, as the most rewarding aspect of the profession.
Crystal is currently a student in the Physician Assistant (PA) Program at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California, Class of 2015. She is most interested in family medicine and women's health.
Crystal holds a B.S. in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California.
