Crystal Jiang

My name is Crystal Jiang, a cheerful and adventurous girl who likes to explore different cultures and cities. Originally from Shanghai, I have established my career in Vancouver and Singapore as an ambassador between North America and Asia.

I am a social media strategist, a community builder, and a consultant on Chinese social media. I currently work at HootSuite to grow and manage their Asia-Pacific audience. I also advise the Mayor of Vancouver about content writing on Chinese social networks, and help LAT Multilingual to strategize inbound marketing campaigns.

I was born and raised in Shanghai. After my undergraduate degree at Fudan University, I decided to explore new cultures and challenge myself on a global stage. Therefore, in 2009, I alone moved to Vancouver and studied my masters degree at the University of British Columbia.
