- I graduated from the University of Central Missouri in December of 201o with my BSE in English Education.

- I am half way through my fifth year teaching and have taught all five years at the high school in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

- The courses I have taught in my five years of teaching include: 9th grade Language Arts (two years co-teaching), 10th grade Language Arts (two years co-teaching), 11th grade Language Arts, 12th grade Language Arts, Yearbook, and Reading.

- This year I am currently teaching a Reading class for struggling readers, Honors Language Arts II for sophomores, Language Arts III for juniors, and I teach a yearbook class.

- In addition to teaching Language Arts and being Yearbook Sponsor, I am Student Council Sponsor, a member of the Building Improvement Committee, and a member of our District's Professional Development Committee.

- This year I was selected to be a Gateway Reader/Selector to help choose the Gateway books for the 2016-2017 school year.
