For the first time in the history of Bank of America Stadium, a high school football game will be played at the facility in August, the Carolina Panthers announced on Thursday morning.

The inaugural "Keep Pounding High School Classic" will open the season on Saturday, Aug. 19, with a game between Northwestern High School (SC) and Providence Day School. The game will kickoff at 7 p.m.
