Carolyn Smith

I work as a freelance editor and funding bid writer, with a career background as a designer and editor for print and online media. Over the last nine years, I have been involved in critical research and post-political activism on urban planning policy.
I am a postgraduate student of spatial planning (specialism sustainable development). My engagement with policy research and professional practice is
both experimental and critical. Left to myself, I write within an anti-formal/deconstructivist framework from
a broad post-structuralist base.
