Carlos Samayoa

Hello, my name is Carlos Samayoa and you probably missed pronounced my last name already haha. Since you don't know me yet, why don't I start by providing a little bit of information about myself:

I was born in Guatemala City, and I arrived to Los Angeles, California, when I was approximately 5 years old. I practically grew up in Los Angeles.

Ever since my junior year of high school, I was very intrigued in Filmmaking. I began to gather money from typical summer jobs and decided to get myself a little Canon G7X. This camera was my life, it experienced everything from the very first video I ever created, to the very first tear dropped when it accidentally fell and broke.

From there, I decided to invest more and upgrade to a DSLR. Everything was completely different because I was no longer required to use Auto Mode with this camera. It came packed with incredible features that I was not familiar to. But that was not a reason for me to stop filming, it actually confirmed my aspiration of becoming a professional filmmaker.
