My name is Csegöldi István and I make and repair musical instruments with strings.

I usually copy the works of the great Italian violin makers but I also take on totally custom made works. This, of course, implies meeting even the most refined demands successfully.

I also take on tasks such as repairing and restoring all types of damaged or worn out violas and violins. This includes replacing the bassbar or the neck, restoring the soundpost, etc.
