Celina S. Nixon, LMSW
Organizer, Consultant, and Writer in New York
Hi there, I am a licensed social worker with over a decade of social services, program management, and grassroots organizing experience. As a facilitator, trainer & movement leader, I focus on popular education, with an emphasis on
intergenerational community building, solidarity economics and anti-Black racism.
My beliefs are deeply rooted in the restorative healing of radical imagination to create transformative solutions for historically marginalized communities and solidarity among those of the oppressed.
I would consider some of my hobbies and passions to be those of an anti-quintessential girl who loves all things Brooklyn, green spaces, artivism, creative writing and poetry, dancing, culture and thrift store shopping.
