Chris Hall
Professional Security Consultant in Virginia
Chris Hall is a Physical and Electronic Security Consultant with over 20 years combined military and private sector experience. Specializing in the support of businesses, manufacturing, educational institutions, residential and multi-family communities, as well as government sites to identify physical security exposures and potential liabilities. Chris provides strategic guidance and technology recommendations, allowing clients to plan intelligently for potential safety or liability issues, which reduces their impact on client assets and daily operations.
Chris knows that crime, to include acts of violence, is based on the perceived opportunity of success by the individual or persons committing the criminal act. Eliminating the opportunity is achieved through Proactive Security Systems, reactive security—which is most often recommended by traditional security companies—only reports or documents a crime after the act has occurred and will not deter an individual from committing a crime or violent act.
In previous client engagements, Chris has designed and facilitated the installation of Proactive Security Systems, consisting of one or more of the following: Intrusion Detection,Access Entry Control, Fire & Life Safety,High Resolution Video Recording Systems,Construction Site Security Monitoring,Contingency & Safety Planning
Chris is licensed and registered by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services for Private Security Services; has held certifications in Physical Security and Asset Threat Assessment Surveying from the U.S. Department of Defense, Police Services and Advanced Physical Security Specialist certifications from the U.S. Air Force; Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) Operator certification from Baltimore County Police Department and U.S. Department of the Interior (U.S. Park Police); Special Weapons and Tactics Instructor certification from State of New Jersey Office of the Prosecutor.
Notably, Chris is a Veteran Non-Commissioned Officer of the USAF and led an Emergency Service Team in support of U.S. Secret Service personnel on September 11, 2001. On that day, Chris was assigned to liaison with USSS in coordinating protective movements of USAF ground personal at Andrews AFB. His actions directly contributed the safe return of the President of the United States to Andrews AFB, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
