Claudia Rezewski

Claudia Rezewski grew up in Drayton Valley Alberta where her love of sports and all things outdoors developed. She was raised in an ice rink and with two big brothers and dad who live and breathe hockey,hunting and working out. She became extremely competative and driven always trying to keep up with the boys in all sports and outdoor fun. She moved on her own out to British Columbia primarily for the amount of opportunites she had in the sports and outdoors world. As she struggled to find a passionate career she was certain it had to pertain to sports. She tried personal training but growing up in a gym she felt it didnt challenge her enough mentally on a day to day basis. She thrives on challenges and found her career path while managng a Curves gym. She was introduced to the marketing world there and decided she would still be involved with sports teams but from a different perspective. Her first big opportunity doing so was with the Abbotsford Heat AHL professional hockey team. She was hired as an intern in the marketing department. At the end of the first day she worked she was alive with the certaintity she had found her dream job. After that she began pushing her way through every door to gain as much experience as possible. She began getting involved in the media and communications department, community relations department, corporate partnerships, internal controls and marketing. She grew more and more atracted to her decision the more she discovered the endless opportunities in this career and how perfectly she fit into this world. She spent the last year living the dream watching, living and breathing hockey as a job and applied it to every project and paper she was given in University. Now with the Heat moving she is looking to pursue another sports team wether it be hockey, baseball, soccer, lacross or football she is ready to make an impact and difference in the sports world to the best of her abilities.
