Hello there, I’m Cuong.

What drives me in life is a desire to create more livable places through improving equitable, sustainable community practices and transportation options.

I’m currently working at California Department of Transportation, District 7 (serving Los Angeles and Ventura counties) to deliver an Active Transportation Plan, as the Senior Transportation Planner for Active Transportation and Complete Streets. Previously I was the Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator at the California Department of Transportation, District 8 (serving Riverside and San Bernardino counties) .

I am a fan of the outdoors and partake in backpacking, bicycling, hiking, paddleboarding, rock climbing, snowboarding, swimming, tent (and van) camping and just about anything else that's thrown at me. I’m also interested savoring the delicious life, eating (and taking in) what the world has to offer.
