Whether he’s dropping a deep house set from the Toolroom Knight’s Tour with Mark Knight (UK), or belting out big room anthems on the main stage at Club Paradiso, DJ Jason Stone is at one with music.

After the UK born Australian bred DJ burst into the Perth club scene, the past 12 months have had a fast tempo. Since becoming one of WA’s most popular party rockers, Jason's market presence and fan base have exploded.

His genre versatility and his tremendous passion for house music has seen him play with some of Australia’s best DJs, such as Electric, Kenny L, and Dr Willis, as well as landing sets at Stereosonic, Paradiso Festivals and Hedkandi’s Carnivool Tour.

Along with sharing the stage with local DJs, Jason has also had sets with some of the best internationals, including Laidback Luke, Timmy Trumpet, and The Stafford Brothers.

Jason’s success thrives from the way he communicates with his audience. “Anybody can DJ, but to do it well you have to be passionate and connect with the people,” he says. “If the DJ doesn’t feel it, then the people on the dance floor won’t either.”

His enthusiasm makes his sets theatrical, as when he had local violinist and vocalist Sophie Visser join him on sets throughout his recent shows, plus Perth’s popular DJ Mel Bee, joined the duo to form Halo Effect for an outstanding Australia Day performance at Club Paradiso.

Jason’s passion for production and remixing allows him to put his own spin on many of the tracks he plays, creating sounds we predict will echo for years to come.
