Cinque Cullar With a voice from heaven, a ministry with global reach and charisma to catch the attention of all ages, Cinque Cullar is a gifted performer and teacher who has dedicated his music career to spreading the word of God.
Minister, Educator, Artist, Producer, Director and CEO, a native of Chicago, Cinque is a graduate of Alabama State University where he received a BA in Communications with emphasis in Public Relations. At 14, Cinque became a member of the world-renowned Soul Children of Chicago. A devotion that broadened his experiences, it allowed him the opportunity to travel the nation performing before thousands. With the choir, Cinque emerged as a powerful song leader, both spiritually and vocally, including lead vocal parts on radio favorites Celebrate and Secret Place.
In May of 1993, Cinque became a Licensed minister. In late 1995, he extensively toured Europe singing backup for Jessy Dixon, a pioneer in gospel music. Then Cinque toured Switzerland and Israel with Walt Whitman. Cinque was also a member of the national recording gospel group, Fortitude aka "NuWave". Their debut album, 'So Grateful to You' hit the nation by storm earning them a Stellar nomination for 'Best New Artist'. The group debuted their self-titled sophomore project on Warner Brothers Records "Word", garnering them a second Stellar Nomination for 'Best Group Duo'.
Cinque Cullar is also a sought after workshop clinician, he conducts Youth choir, Praise and Worship and Leadership workshops nationally and internationally. His most noted accomplishment to date is his birthing of Nationally renowned ministry organization, the Tribe of Judah. Cinque started the group at Alabama State University in 1997. Since its inception, the group has traveled the country having the opportunity to perform at some of the most prominent churches in the nation and has shared the stage with such greats as, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbet, Donald Lawrence, LaShun Pace, Brian Mcknight and many others.
Tribe of Judah has also recorded two nationally released CD's to include their number one single, 'Let it Rise' produced by Cullar's production company, Judah Productions. The Tribe remains one of the top college Gospel Choirs in the nation.
